I didn’t have waterproof boots and most people I know didn’t either. The times my boots got wet they would get wet no matter what so don’t sweat it too much.

Currently taking boxing class. Most people say they enjoy it after the 8 lessons. They told us concussions happen but nobody has lost pilot qual because of something that happened in boxing class, and that they aim to keep it that way.

How tough are medical waivers, if anyone knows? I know it depends on the situation but do waivers generally take many medical appointments or can they just be given based on the evidence? I know I’ll need a waiver for pilot training since I needed one for admission.

You need to tell them that you want the old flu shot, not the new one. My local pharmacy didn’t have it but my doctor’s office did.
