    Woo Hoo - Banner Day for us! My son did get his 1st choice NROTC at SUNY Maritime and rec'd BFE from USNA same day. My mind is spinning....thank you to everyone on this board who's been in the waiting boat with us for so long.

    Congratulations! My son's in the same boat - received the email this afternoon, but portal not updated. He called the FL number - voicemail. Shot an email off...but the weekend may have begun. His 1st choice is SUNY Maritime.

    OP again - Met the mail truck and found a TWE...freaked out for 1/2 hour until DS arrived home. Turns out the letter says "...You are guaranteed an offer of appointment if your remaining admission requirements are satisfactorily met..." and the only thing checked off is Medical. I called...

    I've been checking DS's Dodmerb status daily for the past few weeks hoping to see a hopeful indicator. He had a medical DQ for a minor visual problem which would not require a remedial. Today his status changed to "Medical Waiver Granted" under USNA. Am I being over confident in taking this...
