It is that time of year again...the PFT/AFT. So my question is, if you fail the PFT/AFT and you are an IC athlete do you still get to participate in your sport? I know that for me it will be close on both of them. Will I be placed in Recondo or will I still be able to work with my team?
Hey!! Does anybody know when we find out our squadron?
Are some 'bad' or 'good'. I know a lot of people say that your life is determined by the leadership in your specific squadron. Any thoughts....
Do you get kicked out for not being in shape? I am getting in shape, however I know that I am not as prepared as I should be. I pass the tape test, but I carry a few extra pounds. Will this be held against me? Is basic only about pt, or is there other stuff you can excel at? I am really nervous...

If you went to the academy when you were 17 would you have been happier? I ask this, because I would like to know if it is the academy or your age that is pushing this?
Everybody on this forum has been wonderful!! I was wondering if anybody could tell me what a typical Basic day is like. I have heard "lots of running" and "tiring", but I don't know what a day is actually like. When do you wake up? What do you do after that? And after that? etc...
THANK...
HI! I had a question regarding injuries. I received my appointment a few months ago and now I am wrapping myself in bubble wrap :) My question is what happens if I have a freak accident a month before basic and am no longer medically qualified. I know that after you say the oath you have a spot...
