What a week for all of the AIMsters! The graduation was great. Very moving - I had goosebumps too.

My DH and DD are on the road to CT. They’ll stop over with Granddad tonight and then on to USCGA tomorrow. She is excited and nervous, as I guess you should be. Good luck to all Aimsters! I hope they have a great week.

Capt MJ, you make my heart happy. My DD just received her candidate packet for class of 2024. No matter what happens over the next year, it is so nice that families like yours step in to help out the students. You had me at dog-snuggling on demand.

My DD was accepted this morning by email. She is very excited.

Is the writing portion of the SAT required for the USAFA application? I have found conflicting information, but specifically that the writing portion is “preferred.” My DD has not taken the SAT with writing, but we could schedule that, if it is considered/helpful.

Congrats! Do you know if this is a rolling notification? My DD has not received a response yet. Hope she is still in the running.
