So USAFA does have civilian wifi that cadets are free to pay for monthly. This wifi can be connected to with phones, which I think is the biggest concern for most. However, it costs closer to $30/month or $50/month depending on the plan and speed you want.
One thing most squadrons are unaware...
I just finished my four degree year at the Academy. Came from a family with zero military in it. If I were you, I would not worry too much over this. All you need to know coming into I-day is the seven basic responses. Everything else you will learn during BCT.
Congratulations! Hopefully I can meet your DS during our time there. I too received the TWE in April and was later appointed, and I can say it is a great feeling!
I'm in a similar situation as the OP was. I'd been rooting for USAFA for a long time until a turn in events. I finished my applications for USAFA and USMA in January. I got accepted to USMA about a week later but never heard from USAFA until April 7 (rejected). So in March I did a visit to West...
Your body has to be straight, your arms have to be 90 degrees or less at the elbows when you go down, and they have to be fully extended when you go back up.

Is USNA your DD's first choice or only one she is...
Just thought this might be a fun question that can hopefully alleviate some of the stress and anxiety of waiting.
I have a funny story myself. I was in the kitchen talking to my mother when I heard my phone ring in my pocket. Just to be funny, I looked to her and over-confidently said, "Oh...
The most important thing with the basketball throw is technique. Look up some videos on the proper form to get as much force as possible. You can also train with a heavier ball. I've heard of some people using medicine balls. Be careful if you decide to do this though. Too much strain on your...
DoDMERB does not have to be complete by the 31st. I'm in the same boat as you. Initially needed a remedial, so I sent in the paperwork, then DoDMERB requested another remedial.
Do you mind if I ask which APs?
With your ACT/SAT score, try both tests and see which you're better at. Get some practice books and read about the different strategies. Take practice tests and look at the ones you got wrong and learn WHY you got them wrong. This is what I did and I raised my...
