If it is anything like how I received my AFJROTC nomination, you will apply through your Senior Instructor. My Aerospace Science Instructor knew exactly what to do when I told him I needed a nomination.

I'm the same here airforcemom. I have 4.3 GPA, top 6% of class and the Group Commander, C\Colonel of my JROTC Unit, and involved in many of their activities, but never did any sports! It's too bad Rifle Exhibition doesn't count as one, because man, does it take some muscle to throw those rifles...

Just received TWE also. Seems like they're coming out in waves now!

I received my TWE today as well. I think my mom is taking it harder than I am!! I'm definitely reapplying next year, and wishing luck to all of those still in the running!!! The application process has taught me more about myself than I knew. I'm ready for the journey ahead!

Some Candidates deadlines aren't until the 18th of April. And appointments by USAFA, so I've heard, have been done a little different this year. They're probably still trying to work out all of the kinks. If you're still a Candidate, keep your head up!

The Academy's page says that? I haven't seen anything on there that says that they will FOR SURE contact us today, but I would love to be wrong!!!!

Would it be a good idea to contact Admissions Counselor if not notified by this week? I don't want to be another pain in the back side, since I know they have a lot on their plates right now.
