Geography wasn't even looked at for my DS. We are in PA and they offered him and he went to NMMI. Marion would have been much closer and easier. I am not sure how they choose where when they offer.

With my DS he was in constant contact with his Admissions office and at one point he mentioned that he wasn't opposed to being a sponsored prep. I am not 100% sure when the mentioned this because they did converse allot during the process. He also was on hold until June 12 when they offered him...

My son as well is a sponsored prep at NMMI and had scholarships as well from his Senior year at HS. We had had to pay about the same 3000.00 BUT this does not include his flights. We are in PA so we had to fly him back and forth. That ran us another 3000.00 total.

You can let your admission office at KP know you are interested in Prep school. If they dont offer that you can go as a self-prep as well to their prep schools. It just costs more than if they offer it.

You need to have 50% of your application handed in before they put in for your DOMERB. I do believe that you need the fitness test done.
