I was a petty officer 3rd Class, Leading Petty Officer of my division. Received TWE March 12, but accepted an appointment to the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

I believe the admissions director called me. Also after about 3 hours, my congressman called me as well. :)

Denied NROTC Scholarship yesterday. Still waiting on USNA and USMMA. Triple Qualified with nomination on both. I was pretty upset because NROTC was the plan B. They must have had really strong applicants this year. Like really, really strong.
