Son had interviews with Senators in October/November, Congressman in January. Notices were sent out in February. They got together and compared notes. I agree that it depends on the state.

Son was able to secure a nomination from his AFJROTC unit to USMA. Not sure, but I would suspect it might work the other way around. My suggestion would be to talk to your instructor. He should certainly be able to advise you. You may have already found this link...
