    NROTC-MO

Scored a 292, had around a dozen guys and 1 female. Interview went well, however due to the number of applicants, interviews typically lasted 20-30 minutes. Anyways, couldn’t be happier for you mate!

What was your PFT and how did your interview go? Love hearing about others’ experience.

    NROTC-MO

I believe it depends on your district. That being said; from what I’ve read, seen, and heard, results will be public by mid December for the early board. I would reach out to your coordinator or recruiter for an official answer—don’t rely on my response. Good luck!

    Physical fitness

I like how @EEBTTF put it. Yes it will make your resume/package stronger; however, if you choose to participate in a sport, contribute to your team, be committed, and don’t skip practices. Even though track and field is a fairly individual sport, be a team player. Encourage your peers. If you’re...

    Work out plans

I would do some research regarding a fitness plan that is specific to you. There are plenty of workouts that help enhance the muscles used to complete the Marine PFT. That being said, nothing improves your score better than doing pull ups, crunches, and running. Pull ups: Just do pull ups...

I'm starting to have my doubts

Agree with, @TheRightStuff Keep training and keep working hard, there’s only one way to get better. Use your current doubts for motivation, train harder than your peers. Continue to exercise and push past your comfort zone after your CFA. Research workout plans and Whole Foods; if weight...

    Nrotc Mo board updates

I was told you could be notified as early as December - before Christmas - if awarded the scholarship on the early board. That being said, I agree with @EEBTTF. Your region is most likely different than mine and everybody else on here. Contact your recruiter and see if he/she is able to give...

    NROTC-MO Application

I 100% agree with you as well. I shouldn’t have assumed through my personal experience; however, I still believe he or she would’ve been contacted if something was missing. I would definitely be more than frustrated if put in the same situation as your DS through this process. The XO would also...

    NROTC-MO Application

If you had your picture taken and submitted your transcripts along with your package, you have nothing to worry about. I’m sure my status says the exact same thing. Your recruiter would contact you if something came up or was missing. It’s a slow process. Good luck!

    Physical Fitness/diet advice?

Swimming and running is a great way to cut back on body fat. Any source of cardio is really. If you’re able to set aside more time for those activities, you will see great results. I would suggest Running 3 days a week and lifting 2. Two days of rest to recover. Don’t worry if your weight stays...

College Major - Before a Commission

Being a leader of Marines is my all time goal. Becoming a Marine officer is more important to me than an undergraduates degree in engineering.
