That happened to my son . Take NAPS . Naps is everything that has been posted prior on this Forum. Helped my son immensely . He graduates from the USNA in less then 2 weeks .

My son just had his teeth pulled out or drilled out . He graduates next week . i would say hold off until you have to get it done.

cant use their yard card at the Mid store . cant buy books either unless you go get cash from ATM . lots of rumors flying around . I can't believe they wont be able to get it all straighten out within a week .

Doesn't hurt to have a parent that graduated from the USNA . Actually it helps .

I would believe a 3.0 at the USNA would be a little more difficult then at Cal . Hard to compare the two. couple of insights . If she is an athlete , I would contact the coaches of both the USNA and the USMA . If she is good and they want her , she will get in .

my son wasn't a real math or science person either . He took them and finished them because he had to at the academy . Not the end of the world

during the detailers briefs they where told how to interact with the plebes and candidates at NAPS . It has gotten somewhat easier , even in the last couple years .

go to your local recruiter . you are sworn in as a reserve . so you are in the Navy . gives you extra time on your retirement .

when are you headed to leatherneck? my son is there right now. I will ask him what you need . he told me there were some air force guys there. he told me they had different reasons for being marines . anyway I will ask him about a gear list.

my son went there . It was tough but he loved it . If your an athlete make sure this is for you. he will be back this summer as a detailer . Its kinda like a officer that will teach you and drill . You will have to join the naval reserve before you go . if you have any other questions just ask
