civic29, This is a common misconception, The Citadel is not a federal academy. Not everyone has to join the military upon graduation. Only 40% or so do via ROTC Scholarships/Contracts.

I have a 4-year Army ROTC Scholarship so I had to take the DoDMERB in June of 2015. I know they are valid for two years so how do I go about using this past DoDMERB for the West Point application? Thanks!

I've talked to my region's RC a few times throughout the process this year. Just scheduled my CFA for the end of this week with one of the officers here at The Citadel as well. Are there any major points you suggest I hit when I call my RC? Thank you for the input.

I emailed him a couple months ago about running. Never heard back from him. Although The Citadel is a D1 school, our program doesn't compare to West Point or any of the FA's for that matter. I will try to contact him again when indoor track starts in a few weeks if my times get faster...

I made the point of letting my ffa know that this would be my only means of a nomination. We are in contact a lot. He said that they usually will try to shift nominations around to get those most qualified in. That being said, I am aware of the small amount of ROTC Nom slots they have.
