I visited last summer for Parents' Weekend. My sister is a fourth class cadet.

I received a phone call today from my Congressman. He told me that I received an appointment! I didn't think that this was possible and I was in total shock. I had received a letter about 3 weeks ago saying that I was not accepted. I was so surprised when I found out that I got in!!

I got a letter in the mail today saying that I was offered a conditional appointment. I need to get a medical waiver for surgery that I had when I was 2 years old. I'm still waiting to hear from USAFA.

If admissions wasn't interested in me, wouldn't they have sent a rejection letter already? Does this mean that I still have a chance of being accepted?

My medical waiver was approved on March 27. My file is now complete. I still have not heard whether or not I am going to be accepted. Is anyone else still waiting to here or have all the appointments already been given out?

I'm pretty sure you can update your SAT/ ACT scores on the PCQ. You either need to call admissions and tell them your scores or have the scores sent to USAFA from the testing agency. SAT code- 4830 ACT code- 0530 Good luck!!

I think they review each candidate's file and rank them in order of how competitive they are. After they get a sense of how competitive all the candidates are, then they make their decisions. I am not positive about this though.
