I second this. My daughter didn't make it to the AFA SS last year but she got the appointment for class 2022. She attended the Naval Academy SS and got the overall outstanding candidate award (5 out of 800). My MOC didn't nominate for multiple SAs, she has to pick one - USAFA as she loves flying...

It took about 22 calendar days (including Christmas and the the new year) for my DD's medical waiver to complete. Her ALO told her that they only made request if you're competitive. So I guess you just submit what ever documents they need and wait. Good luck to your application!
