It looks like my DS may end up joining VANG for the in state tuition. He really really likes VTCC. Did not receive any financial aid for VA Tech. It has been a roller coaster ride the last few months for our household and a final decision has to be made soon.

DS not exactly sure of order yet but his 5 are South Carolina, VA Tech, NC State, VMI, The Citadel. I have a younger DD, so I've got a few more trips left to do.

My DS just had an eye opener. SAT came back Thursday 1180. ACT today 25. Think he thought he'd do much better. He's got a lot of studying and prepping to get mid 1300s.

Any particular piece of info that you found interesting in the briefs/panel discussion and wouldn't mind sharing here? Parents asked a lot of questions about their kids doing this and that and what else they needed to do. Biggest thing is that there is not a secret formula. Everyone should do...

Just got home from CVW. DS absolutely loved it. The weather was beautiful, so he didn't get a feel of the 'Dark Ages'. The visit made his desire even stronger. Not sure where his love for the Navy comes from...lol. The briefs, panels, and tour for the parents was great. He's waiting on word for...

DS watched something online last night with admissions where they did a brief and answered questions. Not sure exactly what it was (had to have account and login) but DS says that's what was said.

I heard first notifications go out this Tuesday.

I can't PM you. My DS will be doing the spend the night with corps on 4/3. VT will be on of his 5 for NROTC.

DS got invite today for Jan/Feb. I figure there may be tons of invites sent, but happy he got one. He's really looking forward to it.
