Just thought this might calm the nerves a little but I never got a call from my MOC. One day I came home and out of the blue there was a BFE sitting on my dining room table, so even though they do call all of the MOC's, some don't call the appointees, hope this helps those who are still waiting.

USNA tries to let everyone know their status: appointed, denied, or waitlisted by April 15th. Also from everyone I've talked to most appointments go out during March so you should know soon.

I don't know if there is any correlation but i went on a CVW back in October and recently got my BFE. From the mids I talked to they said it is a good sign if you are invited for a CVW but it isn't a guarantee of an appointment.

My BFE came in a big manilla folder, inside it was a thick blue folder with a handsigned letter of appointment. Along with this folder there are some documents that you have to fill out etc. But the nicest thing is that nice official looking blue folder:shake:

The Boards for each don't talk to each other about who they give scholarships to and who they give appointments to. I received an instant NROTC scholarship in December and I received my appointment to USNA on February 22. So to answer your question no I don't think it lessens your chances for...

It honestly depends on the MoC. One of my nominations showed up in the CIS about a week after I got the letter telling me I received the nom, I'm still waiting on the other one to show up and i got the confirmation letter on Dec. 15th
