Hi, i was wondering how they count your 4 years at USNA. Do they count it as 4 years in the navy, marine corps, or something else? Thanks.

It's definitely not my only ECA and i plan on doing some varsity sports at USNA so i might not want to/be able to keep it current, but thanks for the replies.

Thanks, I'm a freshman and was hoping that it would have more weight in the application. As for the navy/marine way, my dad's a former-USMC pilot. He's also my instructor :thumb:

How much leverage will this give me on my application? I plan on becoming a marine pilot, but they wont know that till senior year. Will it still be a big boost on my application or just equal to another ECA?? Thanks

Meh, i have no idea. I got rejected too and i thought i had a good application (check my other post for my credentials). But hey, there's always next year:biggrin: At least they know my name now.

Well i'm definitely going to apply for it next year too. I was really discouraged when i opened the letter but after thinking about it, it's better to get rejected for a week-long summer program then to get rejected from the 4-year sleepover. I also think that it doesn't give the admissions...
