Today I called my local police department to ask if they could complete the Police Record Check form. However, I was told by them that they only perform record checks for other law enforcement agencies and will not complete one for the military. Where else could I turn to to get this form signed...

Update: Medical waiver was granted today! I’m hoping this is a good sign for an appointment, but don’t want to get too excited until I actually receive a BFE.

It wasn’t

They told me that for my medical condition, the only thing that was stopping me from getting a waiver was that not enough time had passed since the condition was treated.

I was in contact with USNA during the whole process I tried to appeal the waiver decision last year and was told that the only reason it wasn't waiverable was the timing. They said it would be most likely waiverable in a year.
