    New Army Greens

Hello all, I was just curious and wanted opinions on this matter. I am graduating and commissioning Spring 2021 next year via Army ROTC. Do you think that newly commissioned LTs will get the new Army Greens? I always admired the old WWII Pink and Greens and would be honored to wear it because I...

    Recommendations - Boots

Everyone's feet are different, it just depends on what you are comfortable with. I have tried Garmonts, Danners, and Bates, but I went with boots made by Oakley. Also, try and buy some inserts because it helps your feet with rucking long distances.

    Chance me Army ROTC Scholarship?

You have some good feats but use that for the essay and interview. Make sure to point out WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED because I have seen all types of cadets in ROTC. Some are snobs and some aren't and you'll learn about that in the program. I received a 2.5-year scholarship and had to do the same...

    "Best" Army ROTC Battalion

I'd also like to concur. Especially since it's Audie Murphy. If anyone ever goes to school in Virginia, the Audie Murphy Memorial is a place that is specific for Virginia and should be one of the reasons to go. His memorial unfortunately lies in the area his plane crashed in the mountain but...

    Aerospace Engineering Student and AROTC

STEM majors, in general, are given a fifth-year option for AROTC if students choose. You will fill out a 104R, an academic plan for your major, turn it into your cadre every semester you are with them. For me, once MS3 year comes around they will take another look at your 104R, confirm your...

    "Best" Army ROTC Battalion

I met cadets from around the nation during summer training coming from different schools and backgrounds. Met all ranging from New York to Texas to California to Hawaii, even met a few from Puerto Rico and Alaska. I would recommend any university, we may be taught differently on doctrine but in...

Anyone familiar with the following Army ROTC programs- Syracuse, UOregon, Penn State, VT, and Lehigh?

I would like to highlight that any Army ROTC from any university is great. AROTC is phenomenal, especially Basic Camp if you are still unsure about Army and becoming an officer, it gives you an insight into the structure. I met plenty of students at FT Knox and my friends I made there ranges...

Anyone familiar with the following Army ROTC programs- Syracuse, UOregon, Penn State, VT, and Lehigh?

Hey there, I'm a Junior AROTC Cadet in the VT Corps. If your interested, PM me or let me know here. I'm not shy publicly letting you know what VT is all about. A little about me; I did not start in AROTC. I went through NROTC thinking that it was something but it turned out not to be what I...

    NROTC sideload board updates....

Does anyone know anything about the 3-year sideload? I haven’t heard anything about whether I got it or not, so I’m going to go with my gut and say that I didn’t receive it.

    NROTC sideload board updates....

Really? Dang, my school starts in a week, I thought they notify people 2 weeks beforehand.

I don’t think anyone has heard back about 3-year, have they?

Delay in applying for Army/Navy/AF Scholarships?

Hey there, Sorry for a late response. I am a rising college sophomore in NROTC. From my experience talking about hypotheticals gives more anxiety than relief, you are a HS senior, all you can do now is apply. Give yourself the option to choose. As far as the rotc scholarship in Navy, I’m an...
