For some reason, it took the authorization card longer to show up than other things that I had sent in the same envelope, but it was less than a week difference. :)

@BigNick, what about the Prepsters? I know that some of them use congressional nominations if they can procure them, but I know that a fairly large number use some other form of nomination (I'm guessing Superintendent), so where would they fit in?

I think that's what they tell all of the QNS people (which means that you're triple qualified but don't get a slot). That was me last year, so I know what you're going through. I got an appointment this year though, so don't give up if it's what you really want :)
