    is your son an athlete? is he looking to play for a service academy? Our son did not do any high school sports. We we just wondering as we have not heard anything since he completed his application. We obtained nominations from both HI senators.

    He is a soccer player, but did not pursue it with the coach at USMMA. So far he is in at USCGA and USMMA. Haven't heard anything from Naval yet.

    Our son has been doing the Sea Cadets since he was 12. They do their drills on the Battle Ship Missouri Memorial. Thus far we haven't heard anything and he is very nervous / anxious about it. The USNA will take the longest time. We are hoping to hear from the USMMA soon.
