    Wannabe2013 is correct: sponsor mids fill out short evaluation sheets about their "drags", and as along as you're polite and friendly, you'll get a good evaluation. For example, I was impressed with the candidate I sponsored because he was always polite, asked a lot of questions about USNA...

    Yes, it's politely called a "Health and Wellness Inspection." The training staff in my company did this at two random times last semester when they suspected a lot of us were using media (which many were, including myself, so we paid dearly for it).

    Lots of mids use iPhones to access the internet. They're especially helpful when the internet is reduced to a crawl because the entire brigade is checking their emails. Not accessing music and movies with an iPhone is on each plebe's own honor, as the phones' history will pretty much never...

    Plebes and Youngsters are not allowed to drive motor vehicles on the yard. The second class can drive on the yard but are not allowed to park their cars there, and firsties can park in designated areas.

    do most midshipmen stay in shape while at the academy? I know that one can be separated for repeatedly not meeting the minimum scores on the PRT, but do most still score relatively high? The reason I ask is because right now I can max everything on the PRT except pushups; I'm in the 70-80...

    after Plebe Summer, will it still be required for our class to wake up early together for PT? and if not, are there groups that get together to work out? I'm used to working out by myself, but I like having someone else around to push me a little bit harder
