I was DQ'd over 200 days ago for hearing loss (I would have passed if not for failing by 5 dB at 3000 hz in one ear) and previous Adderall prescription.

I did not receive any AMI requests but did send in letters from my doctors in support of a waiver. I am supposed to leave in two months for training but am not sure I will have a waiver decision by then.

Just mostly looking for any commiseration. I know this is a game of hurry up and wait.

I have to ask, is this ROTC or an SA? And if SA, did they send you anything stating they are actively pursuing a waiver?

It is direct commission. I am not sure if this is the right place to ask that question but this forum is the only place I have found where I can ask even though it is not an SA or ROTC. I apologize if my question shouldn't be here, just haven't found any forums specifically for direct commission. My DoDMERB profile has shown under waiver review for seven months.

To update, I just received a request today from the accessions officer to do a psychiatric consult but CIV team does not have record of this request yet so I've got to wait a few days to get that scheduled.

111! hoping for the best...

update update in case anyone lurks this thread the way I do: it's day 239. I am still under waiver review. It took over 200 days to get an AMI request.

I was supposed to have a guaranteed answer by a specific date in Feb according to my accessions person. Then I was supposed to have a guaranteed answer by a specific date this month (said date has come and gone). Now my waiver decision "should be soon" but I am supposed to leave in three weeks and still do not have an answer. I am not sure when "soon" is.

Again, this is for direct commission, not a SA/ROTC but I cannot find anything specific to direct commission and I figure there's enough of an overlap that this could maybe be helpful for someone.
