After reading many posts in this forum I began to question why my DD who applied RA on 12/18/23 had not gotten anything in regards to medical exam. Only communication rec'd was when application was submitted and then 3 weeks ago to say she was next to be reviewed within 2 weeks. AO said today she should've gotten email....she did not. Was not in spam either. Doesn't the academy submit DD info so it kicks out an email to get exam completed? They said she is pending and I'm sure it's because exam isn't done. Email was sent to AO and head of admissions that email is needed ASAP. Does she still have time to get all this done?

Yes, but I wouldn't wait for email. Go to DODMETS website and attempt to login using SSN. If she's in the system (probably is), you can create account and immediately schedule exams and fill out medical history questionaire.

Here's a thought. She may have been in the system but the exam authorization expired because you never scheduled the appointments (because you didn't know). Try calling the CIV Team and see if she was in the system. They might be able to re-authorize and get you going ASAP.

Thank you for the info. I just called. She was never in the system. Hoping USCGA responds quickly and get the authorization done.

Well, it only took a minute and was worth a shot. At least know the holdup is indeed on the USCGA end. It seems someone over there dropped the ball. Hopefully, they will make an accommodation in allowing you reasonable time to get this done.

So we had something similar happen. DS applied RA just days after EA closed (we messed up). We never saw an email from DODMETS so we reached out to AO and Coach in January. THEN we received the email but when we went to sign-up it said we'd had an account but it had been deactivated due to not logging in for >60 days. Quick call to DODMETS and it was all sorted but we definitely never received that first email.
Made some progress yesterday. Spoke to AO and he involved the medical coordinator at CGA and she stated her info will be put in (again...even though we never got email) and she should have email from CIVteam by end of the week, but we can try the sign in. We also found out her application is "pending". Nothing had been updated in Bear's Den. It's not pending because of the medical exam so that's good. She has time yet. It's not a NO so we'll take it! We're still hopeful for her!
She can get a conditional appointment, if her DODMD is not qualified yet! Don’t lose hope!

My DS has not received a request from DODMETS for his medical exam (rolled over from EA to RA). We followed the guidance above and called but he’s not in the system. I take this as an indication that he’s not in consideration, even for CGAS or waitlist. Thoughts? Suggestions?

My DD was rolled from EA to RA and got the DodMETS email back in October and did the exam a week later. I would definitely keep calling the AO.
As with the beginning of this post my DD was missed and I would assume yours too. Get a hold of your AO right away at the academy and ask them to get with medical coordinator to get their info in so you can get the email from CIVteam. That's what I had to do. Medical at academy put my DD info in Tuesday and we got the email Wednesday and she has her exams scheduled for Monday and Wednesday next week. I think some applicants info never got put in to get their medical done.
They really need to improve their system for this as there's no way possible we had missed an email after she applied RA in Dec. Each applicant should have something in their system that would kick out an email 60 days from a deadline if they haven't done medical yet.
Hells bells! Reached out to Mr. Beckwith and my DS was entered into DODMERB back in November but we never received an email and the SSN and last name never matched in DODMETS. They are re-entering his info today and we will start the process ASAP.
