My son has already been selected for the NROTC -MO scholarship. He logged into his NETFOCUS account to keep it active it no longer shows his previously submitted information and the notice that he was selected for the scholarship. Instead, it has a link for a new scholarship application. Does he no longer need to log in to NETFOCUS going forward?

I think you just need your status page where you enter your ssn and birth date. You can find the needed forms and other stuff on there.

Throughout the process there were two places to log in. This is the one that works now...

It is likely the change in log in location on April 1st. If he accepted the scholarship earlier, and is good with the location of where it happened. He really won't use the portal anymore. Everything, except sending in NSI documents I beleive, will be going through his unit.

Just logged in and I now have the same problem. Except the second link where you can check with your SSN and birthday does not work either (didn't work before when Netfocus worked). Do I now just communicate through my unit/NROTC command emails?

The SSN/Birthday login system should still work. It is linked on the login page for Netfocus. Try to use it again because it is the only current way to see your status.

I tried to but it just shows that I do not have an application file for both 2023 or 2024.

If that is the case then it sounds like your issue may be more significant than a missing status. I would definitely contact your NROTC application coordinator.

NETFOCUS is cursed!

My son received email confirmation that his scholarship has been moved to the college he’ll be attending, yet when he follows the NETFOCUS link he also sees no record found for his awarded, confirmed scholarship. He has a “paper” email trail verifying his NSI date as well.

He just emailed the placement office again asking for further clarification and instructions.

NETFOCUS strikes again!

I messaged my application coordinator and will maybe contact the official NROTC email that came with my scholarship awarded email. Will update as this looks like a common issue!

He could also call his unit and confirm. His unit will be the one who makes his travel reservations for NSI.

Thanks for the gouge!

He’s confirmed everything except travel arrangements, he just received confirmation that his scholarship was successfully transferred to his committed school.

I haven’t been to NTC Great Lakes since EM “A” School in ‘88, it will be my dad’s first trip back since he went through RTC in ‘61!

Son finally got his NETFOCUS issue resolved. It was a transposed digit in his SSN. IT tech in Pensacola had it sorted out in less than a minute via telephone call.

Hardest part was navigating the phone options when he called the help desk.

On to NSI Iteration 2 😎

What phone number did you call? DD has been locked out of NETFOCUS. Does she even need access any longer? She was awarded the scholarship in March.

The NETFOCUS Help Desk is (833)637-3669. If they call back, the number should be a Pensacola FL number.

I’m a semi-paranoid planner…lol…I want make sure nothing falls through the cracks!

Son requested to move his scholarship and wanted to verify that what they emailed us was in fact approved.

You have to be creative when navigating the phone prompts on their help desk number.

Well, this is a bit late but update:
The Help Desk number as is posted above is very helpful. Emailing the email tagged in the original scholarship selection email got me a response within a few days:) I double checked everything with my unit(because I transferred scholarship locations) and national headquarters through email and phone call.
