Ok, but what about the grilled cheese?I’m a lazy MIDN at heart, I simply chose my class crest.
Actually, I chose my class crest because that’s how we visually identify ourselves to each other.

My single culinary specialty!Ok, but what about the grilled cheese?
Avatar is of a water tight door, properly "dogged" or closed (handle down). The doors help prevent flooding on vessels. For those unfamiliar, the user ID represents the everyday midshipman at USNA. The rotunda in Bancroft Hall has (had?) a midshipman sample room with the door name plates WT Door and his roomie Joe Gish. Today, Joe Gish would need to be changed to Jo Gish to indicate female roommates. Maybe USNA should rotate the nameplates every six months to indicate male or female occupants.Door pic. Wife and I spent a week in Scotland where all of a sudden she discovered tea even though I've gifted her with tea related items plus the tea itself. Soon as we got home she ordered a tea pot so she could pour hot water instead of microwaving it.I just started reading this thread. Great question!
