Yes, HS grad. With DS going into the SA this is not typical when trying to look online for ideas.High school graduation?
I have no experience with service academy students but I recommend that incoming freshman can use the following: a cheap plastic watch with alarm, gift cards for the local joints or travel home, a "Write in the rain" pencil and pad, or other practical gifts. I recommend staying away from military-based gifts at this point.
I teach high school and have no ideas. I always ask my wife what I should get her for the dozens of reasons to buy her things throughout the year. I'm no good at thinking of gift ideas except if I were your son I'd like to have a new car.Yes, HS grad. With DS going into the SA this is not typical when trying to look online for ideas.

For Christmas we got him a nice leather carry-on size duffel bag to travel with. We had a small area laser engraved with his initials and a scripture verse.

I made sure to keep it carry-on size. Most airlines use 22 x 14 x 9 inches for their carry-on maximum. He has already used it quite a bit and really likes it. It also has a compartment at the bottom for shoes or boots.Any size or recommendations for the duffel bag? Looking at getting one as well.
