SLS Travel Issues

Well anyone else having travel issues getting to West Point today. First thing this morning take DS to airport and discover they have already delayed his first flight two hours for crew rest. So he misses the last connecting flight to Newark from Memphis. So now he will after a long delay head to Atlanta to connect. Result is about an 8 hour delay in arrival from 12:30 this afternoon to 8:15 tonight. I know its a holiday weekend, but geez!

Yeah, dd's plane into Chicago was early, (she left last night as it was the only way to make it in during the window) but on to Newark was delayed. She got NO sleep, even sitting in the airport for hours. Today should be interesting! I'm glad her uncle will be picking her up in Dulles to take her to Annapolis in a week, as I'm sure the Newark to Phillie to Dulles leg will be messed up!

I suspect it has more to do with the unstable weather the east coast has been having than the holiday weekend.
