If the academy (or ROTC scholarship board) decided to pursue a waiver for a DODMERB DQ, does it show on the status? And if so, is it in the WP status or the DODMERB status? Thanks.

My experience is with West Point only. The WP cadet portal will show that a waiver has been requested along with the submission date. The DoDMERB portal will also indicate that a waiver request is pending. Remember that the SAs issue the waiver, NOT DoDMERB.

The Academies and ROTC will notify DODMERB and you should receive communication - either letter or email from DODMERB that your waiver is approved.
You also should receive communication from the Academy or ROTC.

When/if you are granted a waiver for one officer accession program then the other programs to which you applied will see it. For instance, if West Point grants your waiver and you applied to AROTC then they will see the waiver.

To add onto JAM's post.

They will see the waiver from USMA, but it will not equate to all branches will waive.

DoDMERB DQ's, thus you will DQ for all branches/sources. It is left to the source to determine if they will or not waive. It is not a blanket waiver for each branch and ROTC just because USMA granted the waiver. USMA may give a waiver, but USNA, AFA, or AROTC might not.
