ya TMO is a pain. They should pack it for you just ensure you have a list of everything being shipped, atleast the things you want to be paid back for in case something goes wrong. Also if they give you any trouble on shipping home and not to the school show them on your orders where it says HHG cannot be shipped to prep school and if they insist on "storing it for you while your there" explain to them you'll be there five years and it would probably be cheaper for them to ship it home.

I had that added to my orders, you can ship anywhere CONUS when HHG storage is not allowed at your destination. Also we have a facebook group for anybody wanting to join and chat, it's USAFAPS Class of 2014.
