Hi, Does anyone know where they are posting the pictures for AIM 2nd session that is going on right now? I'm anxious to see pics!!

Thank you!!

The academy may be posting them somewhere, but also check out Facebook. Paul Duddy is the unofficial official photographer that spends countless hours at the academy taking photos ofvthe cadets, swabs and aimsters. He posts them in his own album, and on the US Coast Guard Academy Families and Coast Guard Academy Parents Association groups. Good luck finding Waldo.

Aim Session 1 had their own Facebook site set up by an AIMSTER (my son). We took the photos posted by Paul Duddy and posted them there. He often posts to his Facebook page and I would think he will do the same with AIM Session 2.

Go Bears!

My daughter is also in session 2, my daughter set up a Facebook site "USCGA AIM Session 2". We were not able to travel with her for drop off so we do not have any photos yet. I am hoping that she told the other people in session 2 (before they had to turn over their phones) so that their families can post to it. I will be travelling to USCGA for Friday's events and will take photos.

I took a look at Paul Duddy's facebook and it states that he is not at USCGA today, but will be returning their tomorrow, so hopefully he will post something in the next few days.

I found a Coast Guard Academy Flickr Site where they posted group pictures from session 1, hopefully they will post session 2 photos their too.

Black flag days because of heat & humity. Most activities next few days will be indoors- Paul put up a note on FB saying there will be limited opportunities for photos. Good Luck

Without photos or contact with the kids, is there any way to find out what flight/squad the kids are in prior to Friday's graduation?

Oh, I'm bummed about the pictures!!! When my oldest son went to AIM a couple of years ago there was a cadet that took hundreds of pictures DAILY and posted them.....I guess we were spoiled that year!! They also had the black flag as I remember.

CLS - I tried finding the facebook page for the AIM session 2 and it would not come up....hmmmm

I was not able to go up there with him and will miss Fridays events, please take lots of pictures and post whoever goes, I would appreciate:biggrin:

I'm not sure how you find out what company. I don't know what company my son is in either, and I didn't know what company my other son was in, I remember searching for him when they would march past us and everyone looked alike!!!

There isn't much in USCGA Aim Session 2 Facebook group yet, and likely there won't be until after the weekend, but here is how you can find it:
In the top left corner of the Facebook screen, there is a group of 4 lines, tap on that and a search bar will come up, enter USCGA and it will bring up the 2 AIM groups that are out there.

I am hopeful that we will fingers out which groups our kids are in prior to Friday, however with your prior experience I think I will be taking a lot of photos on Friday and hoping I get some of her.

Paul Duddy posted pictures to his Facebook this afternoon, look up him up. Most of the pictures of the AIM kids are in the album titled "Waterfront action (7/17/13) pt. III"

I have also posted the links in the "USCGA AIM Session 2" facebook group.

happy hunting :)

Thank you!!! Found the pictures on Paul Duddy's site and found my son:biggrin:. For some reason I can't pull up the USCGA AIM Session 2, I had my son try on his facebook and he couldn't either....Is it marked a private site?

The AIM session 2 group is not marked private, it is marked open. I will double check what is going on with the group, if you'd like let me know your FB name and I can add you to the group.

Paul Duddy added a few more sets of photos from yesterday's sailing.

I am in New London and saw the AIM groups practicing their marching this afternoon. I am planning on taking pictures tomorrow at the different sessions and will post to Facebook when I get back home on Sunday.

My sons flight out of Hartford is delayed and he will miss his connecting flight!! Anyone else have issues?? Still working on...

Mine was late out of Hartford, but because he had a 2 hour layover in Dallas, he was fine. He should be touching down in just a few minutes. His big sis is picking him up.
