Cadet Chorale Performing in Chicago Jan 18-19

This Saturday the Academy Cadet Chorale will be performing a free concert at Chicago's Navy Pier at 11AM, and on Sunday at 2PM at the Tivoli theater in suburban Downers Grove, Illinois. This is a great time to meet and talk to cadets after the concerts about life at the academy. Academy Admissions Partners will also be at both concerts along with members of the Academy Parents Association. If you are in the Chicago area, you will not want to miss this rare Midwest appearance!

Thanks for the heads up. My freshmen DD is interested in USCGA and is a singer, so I am going to surprise her with a trip to Downer's Grove on Sunday. :)

Be sure to have her talk to Cadet First Class Kendra Smith from Lisle, Illinois after the concert.
 
Thanks so much for the head's up on this concert! They were fantastic and my dd loved seeing them perform as well as talking to the USCGA rep (Rogers but I never got his title).

John Rogers is an Admission Partner and member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. I am glad that you enjoyed the experience and hope your DD had an opportunity to talk to some of the cadets after the show.
 
She was nervous, but we did speak with one of the guys. It was definitely a great experience and she is looking forward to a trip to CT probably next summer to check out the academy.
