Does anyone know if the Plebes will get a little liberty around the Herndon climb? Specifically the Sunday before and Monday after the climb or will we have to do all of our visiting on the Yard?
 
same question here. Does anybody know when/if the Plebes will have liberty from the weekend before Herndon thru graduation week?

Bandad's DS knows exact (of course it is ever changing) details of their company's schedule. Bandad's DS' buddy (my ds) went over the schedule with me on the phone.

I wont make it to Herndon on time (rats!) -but Ill be there Tuesday night until DS leaves for first block ~25th.
 
Vista - Well, I didn't get to talk to DS today but I tried. Sounds like you had better luck than me. Seems DS was studying today as he had some big plans for tonight - he was so excited. Something about a special fine arts performance on the yard... It must be nice to have opportunities like that during the week no less.

And yes, he was really pumped :wink:

There is traditionally alot of liberty for all Mids during commissioning week. It is a fun and exciting week. The Yard is alive with tons of visitors and excitement. The Commissioning week schedule is probably posted already on the USNA website. More than likely it already lists when liberty is. There are tons of activities that week not on the schedule like moving stuff to storage/home, cleaning out rooms, finalizing leave/training schedules, getting uniforms ready for the summer, etc. But school is over they are no longer Plebes and in good spirits.

According to DS they "got cultured tonight" they saw Swan Lake tonight performed by the The Moscow Festival Ballet. DS said was GREAT!

I have a copy of their schedule. I think i have bandmom's contact somewhere. I can send it to her in the morning.

So Liberty varies by company??
 
I can't remember whether plebes got liberty during dead week, but they should get LMO liberty during Commissioning Week.

We got liberty after Sea Trials; I remember that. I walked into town and got a burrito. I'm just not sure if that was just for Sea Trials or for the entire week before Commissioning Week.
