USAFA Class of 2020 Appointment Thread

Is it reasonable to accept Plan B college today and to just keep waiting to hear back from the academy? At my plan B school its first come first serve when it comes to housing. Any advice?

Yes, I think it is reasonable. You can always decline your acceptance later, although you may lose your deposit.

Refund or not, my DS will be doing that by May 1 if he gets no good news. It is a safe plan to have Plan B school available should something happens.

I agree with Amy my DD got her appointment last year in October and I did not find this site until this year. DS was anxious and started googling questions and found this site. Thanks to all of the moderators who volunteer their time to make this site possible.
 
LEAD Applicant here. My admissions counselor told me they were evaluating the good majority of airman that didn't apply early (like myself) during the month of April and that I should expect my acceptance/declination in April. Can anyone else corroborate this information? I know it's still early in April and that I'll probably find out this week or next if this is the case.

All, except for one 3/23 posting, any movement as to,posted appointments in the last 11-15 days?, it seems appointments came to a near stoppage
 
So we emailed our MOC to see if all appointments were out for our district (IL-14) and they are. No appointment here but at the same time no rejection either... I was hopefully but I have to say I am not anymore for my DS. Glad thing option B & C are good for him as well.

Let's not lose hope just yet! Stay cautiously hopeful and plan for the worst. Either way - God has a plan for everyone. We have to trust!
 
My DS just received a AFROTC Type 7 Scholarship Friday, hopefully USAFA appointment will come but plan B is set. Anybody else in the same boat?
