Hello, i'am currently a sophomore at a junior college in Arizona and my DREAM! is to attend The Citadel.

Junior college
  • G.P.A - 3.3
  • Vice president of the student government club and business club on campus
  • Honor student
  • Business major
High School
  • Played all 4 years of football as captain, 2 years of soccer , 1 year of cross country
  • G.P.A 3.0
I also volunteer at the VA hospital and work full time hopefully this shows my strong work ethic. Furthermore i have all my classes lined up closely to what The Citadel requires in competencies for a class to transfer. Lastly i'am 21 so i still haven't passed the age requirement. Any advice would be helpful especially those attending right now.

It happens all the time and what I think don't count but it looks good to me. A pretty solid college GPA to transfer and active in your school. Of course you still will do knob year even if you transfer in as a Sophomore. But you knew that already. Reach out to glenn on this forum, he volunteers with recruiting or admissions and can give you the best answer on this forum.

I am sure you know how pricey it is for out of state....

Thank you very much! ill make sure to contact him. Could i ask you how competitive it is for out state applicants? for The Citadel.

Your chances of getting in, whether out of state, as a transfer student, or otherwise are quite good. Recommend checking their website for further information.
...and good luck!
