Just wanted to start this, haven't see a list of accepted candidates and their school of choice. That said if you would could you please indicate your status. School Of Choice / Accepted--- State from which you reside. Just trying to keep it simple. I have seen this type of list for the Academy but not for NROTC (well I didn't see one for my sons class). In advanced congrats.

The word of acceptance for school of choice will depend on if the school has rolling admissions (like CO School of Mines), early decision.admission (that word should be coming out 12/14 for most schools) or regular decision (end of March or so). I'll let you know what my daughter hears from her 3 early admissions in a few days. Although she was accepted to CO School of Mines, which will work for her AFROTC scholarship but not NROTC. Is your son waiting to hear?

I think perhaps the OP meant the school where the NROTC scholarship was placed?

Yes, Navynola is correct...thank you. In regard to my son, no he is currently a 2nd class midshipman. That said as parents we begin this road again with our DD. She has her focus on the Naval Academy but will apply for both. She has already accepted and attended 2 activities at USNA.....STEM & candidate visators weekend. In addition to that she attended their crew camp. Now that she know what that is like she needs to visit her NROTC schools which will be U of N Carolina, NC State, BU and she is finalizing the last two just don't know which ones yet....her journey.

Sorry, misread the post. My thinking veers toward school acceptance. :) Dec 14 will be an anxious day.

Congratulations! When did you find out? My son missed 2 phone calls from the XO this afternoon while he was in PT with his recruiting office. Needless to say, he can't believe that he has to wait until the morning to find out the news...either way!
Once again, congrats!
