I looked at the magazine you reference. The ROTC rankings, as listed in the "National Universities" and the "Liberal Arts Colleges" tables, is calculated by, and I quote, "the percentage of students who serve in ROTC". So I believe it would be wise to clarify that these rankings are a parameter for the proportion of students in ROTC, and not a statistic of the quality of the ROTC unit, lest anyone in the forum who stumbles across this post interprets it as the latter rather than the former. A useful measure nonetheless.

Don't think there will be a big jump in the number of applicants that list University of the Cumberlands (KY) in their top 3 schools.

If you're interested in finding unit rankings, AFROTC has annual 'Right of Line' award that identifies the 'best' ROTC unit (s). It recognizes 3 winners based on small, medium and large unit size.

There are no rankings for NROTC units.
