Hey all,

I need to gain about 6-10 lbs before i head off to The Citadel. I run, box, lift weights, and I'm about to start swimming. I eat good solid meals as much as I can and I also take supplements.

Any advice?
(I wish i had to lose weight rather than gain weight because this is rediculous.)

Thanks in advance.

Just bulk up man. eat a LOT, 4 or 5 meals a day if possible. You say you take supplements, try taking creatine (if you don't already). A lot of food plus creatine and I can usually bulk up at least 10-15 lbs in 4 weeks (much more muscle than fat involved too).

yeah

basically all of my fat goes straight to muscle or burns off. My meals are really high protein and i try to get atleast 1k calories per meal. 3-4 meals a day. Right now im on Kre-Alkalyn Power Gels for maximum work outs and reduced soreness the next day, i love them. Im about to hop on Cyto-Gainer.

Yeah that's a good thing man, I'm sorta the same way when I actually am in a lifting cycle. They make weight gainers that will definitely help you bulk like you mentioned, and if you can't step down the cardio or eat any more than you are already (or if neither has an effect) then I guess you really do have to use a gainer.

Best of luck to ya, have fun.

I would just be careful with what you take some ROTC units do not like certain supplements- I would talk to your detachment before starting any supplement. Good luck though! And try to put on muscle mass not fat mass :)... so no shakes from Chick Fil A :)...

lol yeah

i generally try to avoid fast food in general. To be honest i've never even been to chic-fil-a,and they are everywhere.

I eat loads of bread and peanut butter, i also drink a ton of water.

Why do you NEED to gain weight, I wonder?

Do you mind explaining to me? Is it for your sport?

its

for the height/weight standards for The Citadel, and adding more mass to my definition. I want to go up a weight class too.
