I applied to NASS but was denied, I have a 4.3 GPA and reported my 1380 PSAT scores on the NASS app. Now that it was submitted as a prelim app, should I email USNA my newest SAT (1450) to maximize my chances as becoming an official applicant? Am I even allowed to update my prelim app?

Thanks!

Did you put the Academy on your SAT form as one of the schools you want it reported to? They won't accept an email from you. If you didn't put the academy on your form, go to the SAT website and you'll have to pay a few to have the updated score sent to admissions.

@MichaelW22 Yes, you can update your preliminary application every time something changes but your SAT/ACT scores have to come from the College Board directly for SAT scores and ACT.org for ACT scores. You cannot submit them yourself. If you didn't list USNA as one of your schools for submission, you may have to pay to have them sent but it's a nominal fee. Some people do not automatically have them sent because they want to know the scores first. Your portal shows the highest scores for each section that you receive.

Just sent my scores. Worth the $12 fee!
