AIM notification

My daughter got the AIM rejection letter this morning. She had already moved on and accepted a different summer college program...and will do one of the shadowing options they mentioned. Hoping someone in here got one of those waitlist spots.
 
DS got his final denial, too. Personally, I was taken aback that the subject title of the email was "AIM Final Reject". What an obnoxious way to deliver an email!

As it turns out, he's attending another summer program that same week, and even if he was admitted off the waitlist for AIM he wouldn't have wanted to attend. He had already moved on mentally.

We'll see how the fall goes! Hoping he's not a "Final Reject" everywhere he applies, lol!
 
DD got final denial. I agree about the subject line. Who could possibly think that is an appropriate subject line? I'm not sure if she will do one of the other options or not.
 
Please don't let yourself (or your DS or DD) get discouraged. Apply for Cadet for a Day. My son was denied AIM, but went to CFAD and probably got more out of it. He just graduated from CGA, so not getting in AIM didn't hurt him. CFAD slots open some time in August.

I have been blessed this summer. I have NASS 1st week of June, AIM Session 1 and Marines SLCDA 2 days after AIM ends. Going to be busy but I am very excited.
