Quit hazing the horse. Or maybe he's just drunk.
 
The Fraternity needs to be reported to the school and the national headquarters. My son's fraternity was put on suspension for hazing that was things like having to stay in the Baptist Campus Ministry and wear polo and khaki's to class. Basically his school had super strict anti hazing rules. Some like the ones I put I thought were getting ridiculous camping out in a on campus building and dressing nice for class shouldn't be considered hazing.

But he was greatly appreciated by the brothers and associates for remaining sober at Rush and regular activities. He is 17 yet they nicknamed him 'Dad'. If he told you you were cut off, to back off a girl or go lay down you had to. You may think you have to do this that or the other but if those things are not right for you, against your values or going to remove your ability to have the career you want then it isn't the right fraternity for you.

Standing up for your values isn't something that should be considered a choice you can't make. Making the choice to do the right thing is leadership! Isn't that what you are trying to be, LEADERS?

DS was offered counseling so many times he asked if he could get counseling for the number of 'interviews' he had to do.
I find hazing abhorrent but what was pointed out as in conflict with hazing rules; ROTC was in violation. Even more so since the being required to sleep somewhere other than your normal housing is a lot worse on the weekend trips to the forest vs Campus ministries for 'hell week'. They had it the week of finals so it was more of a study party and they had the older brothers tutoring. But yes counseling was offered about 14 times.
Sadly overreaches, like in DS' case, mock and belittle true hazing issues.

Exactly!!! LOL I was not getting how that and dressing nice for class was hazing, excessive irony maybe but hazing? nah... He is going to a new school this Fall that has a stronger Greek society that has raised over 1.5 million for Charity every year and 5000 + volunteer hours every semester so should not be as overly scrutinized to the level of absurdity. The tailgates have had to be tighten up but when you can't go potty in a porta-toliet cause it is the boom boom room some things need to be chilled out.
