Board review file?

I'm just curious when the Review Board begins to review files. Are they looking at each one as it's complete, or do they wait until they have a nomination, or is there a certain date they wait for and then review them all at once? I'm just wondering how all of this works.
 
My understanding is they review them as they come in and do not wait for nominations. There are always some LOA's that come out before nominations are submitted.
 
We were told that the Board meets once a month. Not sure how they decide who to review first. The first Board happens to be this week. Good luck to all!
 
My older son Kp2020 received his LOA just before Halloween in 2015... we’re hoping to hear the same for my younger son this year Good Luck everyone!
 
That's awesome that your younger son wants to go there too! Anyone else from your family go there? My older brother is a graduate from 1987.

No one else in our family has gone there. Actually we don’t have anyone in the military in our family. My older son is the first. ☺️ My boys have been in a NJROTC program in their school since 9th grade.. Opened their eyes to so many opportunities and they both decided this is how they would like to further their education and serve their country
