Army ROTC notification date?

I second this - last year DS was boarded early, got offered an Ike Skelton first board (which he declined, he wanted active duty), and then he waited, and waited, and waited and... ended up with a AFROTC HSSP (4 year). Like you, it was exciting to see 'boarded' come up, but you may be in for the long haul. Keep your grades up, and enjoy your senior year.
 
Boarded on Tuesday I believe. Checking back about 5 times a day since. Anyone miss the board submission date and still get boarded or would that make you stay board ready? Also, right now the application is inaccessible which I am hoping is a sign they are beginning to start the notifications.

I received a Four Year Scholarship from the First Board last year and I was notified on November 14th. So those that are boarded just be patient

I love it! I just got back from our Fall FTX where we did an obstacle course, land nav, BRM, and a ruck march. The program here is top notch and our Cadre are amazing. The school supports us very well and we are housed in a brand new building with an area built just for us. I definitely do not regret my decision and I am looking forward to my future here and in the Army(hopefully as an Infantry Officer)

Approximately how long after the board was that? I know the boards vary in dates from year to year.

I apologize if this has been asked and answered (I am new to this!)...are notifications done in person first and then the website status changes from Boarded to Winner? Thank you in advance. I have enjoyed reading information from all the well informed members here. Very helpful!
 
No in person notification. You’ll gat an email or phone call first in all likelyhood, although you’ll probably see your status change at the same time.

I agree with Green mountain Patriot about having plan A,B and C in place. As a mom of 2 DS both on 3yr AD scholarships, we have been on your end. In the meantime enjoy your senior year, visit the cadre at the colleges of your choice. Because if your not selected by CC then you still may have a chance of a campus bases scholarship. This was the case with DS #2. Best of luck to everyone. Stay out of trouble, stay focused and finish your senior year strong.
 
It seems like the results will come out next week based on when they came out last year.
Also, I just got contacted by my number one unit, who I have not contacted yet. The commander said he got a list of people. I am not sure of what that means, but my friends currently in ROTC in college all had that happen right before they were notified. So watch out for physical mail and emails.

Not to discredit you but I’m pretty sure results are released to cadres the same time as future cadets. I was notified by multiple ROTC units as soon as my application was boarded. But I do believe you’re right about when results should be released. Usually 2-3 weeks after board was finished which was two weeks ago tomorrow.
 
Futurecowboy99, actually I do believe based on past years they are notified prior to the cadet, but are given a date that they are allowed to contact cadets. Some schools adhere to that date, some do not. Markowpolo, one thing the list could of been was a list of those who applied with that school's name on their list.
