Army Football is on a roll....

Hope so but feel it is a bit optimistic. While this year's team is definitely better than last year, so are they and we split with them. Having played us twice last year they will know better than anyone we play how to defend the triple option which normally gives you a slight edge.

What a difference a day makes - 81 deg Friday; 66 deg Game Day. Maybe North TX will feel frostbit . . .

So Army lost to North Texas. Did not get to watch game fully but seemed as if who ever had the ball last was going to win game. Very high scoring game 52-49, with field goal in last seconds winning it. Time to rest up and prepare for Navy. Navy lost to Notre Dame. Close game until 4th qtr. Interesting that Navy is now employing 3 different QB's during game. Abbey who was the only starter, was hurt a couple games ago, and I think they fear that they may lose a QB to injury playing ND with Houston coming up and don't want an inexperienced QB taking snaps against Army. Just a thought since it happened last year. Ahmad Bradshaw incidentally set a season record rushing and fortunately did not get hurt playing the mean green. Kell Walker did sprain an ankle and hopefully will be better by game time. Getting pumped. Little less than 3 weeks out.

Didn't watch the game but heard about iffy calls from the refs.
Apparently NT threw deep a lot, not a typical Army game for sure.
Score was tied at 7, 28, 35, 42, and 49.
Hurts to score 49 on the road and lose !!!

I predict a tough close game for full 60 min in Philly.

Yes Navy is a good team and weather will be a lot nicer this year. Regarding refs. saw one play which was a clear fumble by NT and recovery by Army and the announcers were in full absolute agreement with clear video during review and they still gave it to NT. Briefly saw what looked to be a safety by Army and they placed ball back on 2. Definitely felt like we were cheated.

Navy doesn't seem to be playing Navy football this year. Philly is gonna be another close rushing game!

Navy lost to Houston by 10 points. Injuries taking a toll on team with 2nd string QB occasionally playing both running back and wide receiver and one starting defense player will be out against Army for first half for targeting to head with helmet. Still would not be surprised if Navy is favored in game. Might be good for Army to feel like underdogs and go out and prove everyone wrong.
