Early Admission Email

Yes, usually webpage and email will be where the decision comes first. He may get the email first advising of a decision having been posted but still have to check out Bear Den account for decision. For some candidates that are being recruited by a coach they may get a phone call direct from the coach notifying them of a decision.
Snail mail is the formal paperwork and it comes after the decision (good or not so good "TWE").

From the other thread, it seems all of them got a call from the AO (admission officer?) or coach. And it seems most of them were athletes. I just cannot imagine they would call everyone to offer appointment. Am I wrong?

anyone hear anything this week yet?

Email came today, had to indicate that I am still interested and would receive the appointment package in the mail in 2 weeks! But its finally official!
congratulations! Had you previously been notified by phone or was this your first notification? When did you submit your application?

I double checked, and it looks like you were notified in some fashion last week, correct? and today they apparently updated the portal for last week's appointments?

Yes, I got a call from my AO last week, saying that I was offered an appointment!

AO said I would be reviewed this month. Hopefully, I see the email saying I'm up for review soon...

Did you apply EA? Because all EA applications will be reviewed this month. The fact that you haven't seen an email saying your application was sent up for review yet makes me suspicious that you did not apply EA, in which case your file will NOT be reviewed this month. Since the EA filing deadline was 10/15, you should have received the email long ago.

Was there a separate box to check for EA? Or are you considered EA if you had your package completed before the 10/15 deadline?

On the personal information page of the application there was a statement along the lines of "Do you wish to submit for EA?" with yes or no boxes below.

There was this question on the first page of the application.
