Appointment Notification

Mid term transcripts:
Do y'all think that they wait until February for most appointments so they can review first semester grades before deciding? If so, how much impact would getting a C have (if the candidate has never had a C in his life, for example)? My son took an AP class this year that is not at all what he expected...so that's making me nervous!

Getting a "C" by itself will not be a deal breaker.
My 2021 had one.
 
My daughter received her LOA in mid-September and, in October, was flown out for the diversity visit. It truly was a special experience and she talks to the other candidates she met on her visit daily. Her file is completed and we are in wait mode for DODMERB (needed more info) and then (praying) for an appointment. Her rep said appointments start the beginning of February and go continue through April.
 
So if the wave started Tuesday, does that mean BFE's could start arriving tomorrow?

When my MOC called yesterday, she said the BFEs would go out on Friday. I’m fairly certain this means they’ll be sent out tomorrow and will arrive Monday at the earliest.

I could be wrong, but this is how I processed the information I was given.

We were told the same thing by our MOC, should expect to see them next week.

Yep, mine had one too and is a Plebe now. Not a deal breaker. Just make sure all those checks are green and not sure if it's to late, but do the ACT/SAT as much as you can to better those scores. CFA scores too. After that, it's just a waiting game. Mine didn't get her appointment until April and some not until May. Even in June cadets got appointment last minute. Patients is all now. Good luck to him!
 
DD received a call today from our MOC that she received an appointment. He indicated a BFE should come tomorrow.

Congrats! Stay healthy now and keep working out. Beast Barracks is no joke! My gal is a Plebe now. Your portal will soon change to lots more stuff to do to get ready. Take it one at a time and breath. You will understand this when you see it. Socks, socks, socks, lol.

They continue until all slots are filled. It can go all the way until June. Congrats!

DS just received his 3Q letter in the portal today. Since he has an LOA and presidential nomination, I suppose all we can do now is wait. One more thing checked off the list feels good though!
 
No, it didn’t. Other’s were told they were sent out today. We’ll report back once it is received.

MOC said letters would be mailed on 1-12-2018.
