They really should have a system in place to hold all the updates till they are done and scrubbed then release them all at once. Frustrating for those that still say under review to be held in limbo seeing people post their winner updates. At this point DD expects to be flipped back to "boarded" as she was after October, while this would be a bit disappointing it would be nice for it to just be updated either direction and not in sitting in limbo.

The updates are all uploaded at one time in a single blast, at least that's how it's been don the past few years.
My son is over the moon. Now we are going to tour both colleges again, meet with the rotc officer at both and take it from there. I know what his number one is (Pitt), but Temple will also kick in some room and board. This is so exciting and I am in awe of the future for my son. Both officers have contacted my son to offer congratulations.
Boarded/Under Consideration for me now reads this: This applicant's packet has been reviewed and scored by either The OCT 17 or JAN 18 Selection Boards, but were not selected. These applicant remain eligible for our final Selection Board scheduled to convene 19 MAR 18... is this updated? Are they fully done awarding orrrr is this another mishap?

The are typically done all at once, at least that is how it has been in the past. The winners are sent to the battalions to double check everything and then the "switch" is flipped at once. I know how frustrating this is. My daughter was a 2016 applicant and did not get a scholarship the 2nd board. The waiting was hard. But it was also a good experience for her as well. She kept in close contact with the ROO at each of her schools so in case she didn't get a national scholarship they would know how interested she was to come to their school, and hopefully be considered for a campus based scholarship. In the past the portal did not change after the second board, because applicants are actually only boarded once so technically the applicant then stays under consideration until the third board is over. When my daughter finally did get the scholarship after the last board, it was a great ending to a very long way. Hang in there, and help encourage your daughter to have her plans B and C in place. There are numerous examples on this board where kids didn't get a national scholarship at all but did get a campus based scholarship and did still become officers. Sounds like an update to me. This is the first year they have done additional updates, which is actually nice not having to guess. Good luck to you during the next round!
