DS was awarded an ISR from the NRD (NTAG) CO, but as of today, his application status suggests that the NROTC coordinator has still not submitted required items (evals, transcripts, SOU, drug statement, etc.) and time is obviously running out. Unsure of our best next steps here given he was awarded the ISR and would appreciate any suggestions/advice. Here's the background/details...
DS submitted all of the required items for his application package to the local NROTC coordinator in early January. DS interviewed with a local NROTC unit officer in late January after following up with the coordinator to arrange the interview. DS and local coordinator began receiving automated e-mails (Feb 1, Feb 7, Feb 14) saying aforementioned items were still missing and if not submitted by end of Feb, his application would be canceled . On Feb 7, DS e-mailed the local coordinator and received no response. DS e-mailed an officer at our NRD/NTAG on Feb. 12 asking for alternative path to get the 'missing items' submitted. A few hours later (coincidence???), the local coordinator called and said the NRD/NTAG CO wanted to meet with DS to discuss a possible ISR. DS interviewed with the CO on Feb. 14 and was awarded the ISR on the spot - Hurray! But as of today (Feb 19), the portal still shows that all of the aforementioned items are still missing. While we do not want to rock the boat unnecessarily nor do anything to cause poor reflection upon the NROTC coordinator or his chain of command after being awarded the ISR, we're concerned that we'll either lose the scholarship or lose placement in a choice school if things get delayed too long. Would sincerely appreciate any suggestions here. Thanks so much in advance.
