SLE Admission Status 2018

I was accepted to SLE and NASS. I had to commit to NASS yesterday and got into SLE today. Has anyone tried to go from one to the other?

My DD got accepted on 15 February. She was given until 10 March to provide payment and completed paperwork.

Her portal kept saying “Not available yet”.

On 27 February she got another email with a link to the Army Force site. She went into the site and accessed the paperwork. Most of the paperwork can be done electronically. The medical questionnaire must be downloaded and given to a doctor for signature. The special power of attorney must be downloaded and signed in the presence of a notary public. Once the medical questionnaire and SPOA are signed, then you can upload them into the Force portal.

There’s other info in the Force portal such as the daily schedule, packing list, and instructions on dropping them off the first day.

So look for that email with a link to the Force portal and that’s where the paperwork will be. Even now, it still says “Not available yet” on my DD’s USMA candidate portal.

Is anyone having a hard time accessing the necessary paperwork?
Yes, I can't access the SLE Offer Kit yet (it says "Not available yet") and same for the other paperwork on the portal.
Paper work is not in portal... it’s in separate website ( ...force.com) but website been down. Email admission if you didn’t get the website. You need medical form sign and power of attorney.

We have not yet received the email with the link. I guess we will give it a few days before he emails admissions. Thank you!

How come my DS don’t see the packing list daily Sched n first day instruction? All of the kits req are done but medical is still in process... was sent a day after it was open.

The subject line of the email to my DD was “Welcome to Applicants”

It was from a @usma.edu email.

DS will go NASS 1st session n SLE 2nd. We live in Florida.

I got accepted into USNA SS session 1 and USMA SLE session 2!
How do you do that with HS?
Our HS does not let out until June 23.
DD got into session 2 at USNA (June 9). She’ll miss school then. I don’t know how she would make up 2 weeks of school if she gets into WP SLE? She takes mostly APs, so AP exams in May- but still finals in June & State No Child Left Behind mandatory testing.
It’s been arranged with the HS admin about taking early finals for those students who are going to the service academies Summer Leadership programs

I'm not sure if this will help you, but I spoke with my principal (who, granted, is very supportive of me pursuing Service Academies) and he has worked out a plan with me to take all of my finals early with SLE cutting off the whole week of testing. I recommend having your DD speak with guidance and possibly administration about the issue, for my school at the very least they are super accommodating.
It’s all ready been taken care of by our HS admin team!
