SAT score

ACT 36 superscore.

Should you submit only ACT if those scores are far superior to SAT scores?[/QUOTE

As long as you are certain which test results are better. At one point we weren't sure how they compared, so we sent both. But as time went on, the ACT got better and better so we stopped the SAT and just continued taking the ACT. There are ACT - SAT conversion charts you can check online, like the one at Prepscholar.com . My opinion is that if you are unsure which test is stronger, send both. They will use the highest of the two, and they will superscore sections.

I agree with Jenkins, submit as you take them. USAFA only takes the highest scores and it is cheaper to chose to send the scores when you sign up for the test.

Took both the ACT and the SAT.

SAT (750, 640) ACT (36, 31)

Google "USAFA class of 2021 profile" (or class of 2020, etc) and you will find that the Mid-50% of last year's class SAT was Reading/Writing 630-700 & Math 640-700.
So, no shocking revelation here, but only 25% of the class scored above that range and the other 25% scored below.

When you see responses on a forum like this, you tend to see folks reporting scores on the higher side. Let this kind of post be motivating, not intimidating.

Do your best, strive for your best possible scores, and focus on all areas as it's a whole person score. If a candidate fails any part of the CFT he/she will fail the CFT and a perfect 1600 will not matter.
